Linksys WMP work on my friend computer but not mine I have a linksys WMP running on a gigabyte M55SLIS4 motherboard every time i try to connect to a wireless connection with the card the OS reboots, But i took the card and installed it on my friend mother running the same release of windows 7 and it worked completely fine no reboot not at all and Download and replace the Linksys driver with the Atheros AR 7. Here is what I did detailed, in case anyone else has the same problem: Just performed a clean install of bit Windows 7, and am running into a problem with my Linksys WMP RangePlus wireless desktop adapter.

I have, however, encountered the same problem before in Windows XP. Office Office Exchange Server. My adapter and network works fine in Linux, so I do not believe it is broken.

Download and install ONLY the driver found at the linksys support site http: I am very dissapointed with Linksys. I have a Linksys WMP as well, and i’m experiencing the very same thing on bit windows 7. With them installed, I cannot even open the Wireless Manager.
