I’m pretty sure that’s not the broadcom device because I checked the device id. I’ve called HP and linked them to numerous blogs on the live chat they offer. Good luck, if I have any further developments I will post a note. wireleess
This is a result of HP’s crafty shipping procedures. Depending on the hardware your system, please install the drivers. I have posted a notice on the HP support site too and others have the same issue. I pulled the minipci card out and began google-ing the numbers. OK enough of trying to be a technie — I’m not, but this re-occuring problem wirelrss pisses me off and I can’t believe we can send men to the moon, but HP can’t find a permanent fix for this problem Helpful 0 Not Helpful Comment Flag.

It’s worth a thousand words. I have a txus which is just past warranty, but cant get it fixed vbecause its not a dv, although loads of people have the same issues with tx series. I have not had any trouble since. The try to go back to XP and go the individual hardware brands websites and look for XP drives.

Didn’t find what you were looking for? After opening the device manager and scrolling to hardwares and the wireless card is not found, then this is the typical tx wifi mystery promblem.
But I’ve solved it too many times now. I wanted to share this information with you guys, wideless I hope this can help to anybody.
